Elektronik emtia hırsızlık önleme sistemi olarak da bilinen EAS (elektronik eşya gözetimi), büyük ölçekli perakende sektöründe yaygın olarak kullanılan emtia güvenlik önlemlerinden biridir.
EAS sistemi temel olarak üç bölümden oluşur: sensör, deaktivatör ve elektronik etiket ve etiket. Elektronik etiketler şunlara ayrılır yumuşak eti̇ketler ve sert etiketler. Yumuşak etiketlerin maliyeti düşüktür ve doğrudan "sert" mallara yapıştırılır.
