What are RFID cards?
RFID cards are often used as personal identifiers in people management or access control systems. It is a popular ISO format ID card equipped with a UHF RFID transceiver that complies with the EPC Global class 1 Gen 2 specification. These cards offer global operation in the UHF 860-960 MHz band. UHF cards are geared toward the electronic identification market, bringing long-range communication distance and stringent durability standards.
Contactless IC card is a common management method in the community vehicle management system at present, but the IC card reading distance is close, and the vehicle must stop and swipe the card before entering and leaving the community. With the rapid increase of residents’ vehicles in the community, it is bound to cause traffic congestion during the peak period of vehicle access, but UHF RFID perfectly solves this problem.
What is the difference between traditional IC card and UHF RFID card?
IC card is also called smart card, smart card, microcircuit card or microchip card in some countries and regions. It makes a microelectronic chip into card form. Therefore, contactless IC card is also called RF card or electronic tag. IC card refers to integrated circuit card. Generally used bus card is a kind of IC card, which is also used in access control management, identity certificate and E-wallet. Short distance RF cards are not afraid of oil stains, dust pollution and other harsh environments. Long distance RF products are mostly used in transportation, and the identification distance can reach tens of meters, such as automatic charging or vehicle identification.
