What is a traffic count camera?

A traffic count camera is a camera that counts the number of people entering and exiting for the purpose of foot traffic control. It provides daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports for analysis. Population counting cameras include simple configuration and improved anti-interference technology.

How the people counting camera works

The cameras are connected to a video turnstile people counter that accurately detects and records entry, exit, queue and wait times.
The people counter streams video and data to a PC via Wi-Fi, Internet, IP, Ethernet, RS485 or RS232.
Counts can be sent directly to a real-time sales (POS) database.
Wide entrances and areas are processed by connecting multiple cameras in the ceiling.
People are counted as they cross an area of the picture and exit up, down, left or right depending on your settings.
You can verify the count by watching the video and seeing exactly what the system counts during the installation process.
Log in and remotely control and configure the device from any internet enabled computer in the world.
Play back counting videos for off-site commissioning.
Select the time period for measuring counts: for example, every hour or every 5 minutes.
If necessary, change the settings in the software to optimize the accuracy of the count for each gate, e.g.
