What is a EAS handheld Tester?

The EAS handheld tester come with antennas that work towards detecting theft and set off an alarm to notify staff of the need to take necessary steps. The handheld eas Tester come with heightened sensibility and are very consistent, and also come with a stable range for theft or loss detection. 
The 8.2MHz RF handheld tester is a very convenient tool for detecting hard tags and/or RF security labels at close range. With this tool it is easy to verify the presence of security tags or labels on hidden merchandise, in pockets, bags, or purses of shoplifters or employees without the need of physical contact. It is battery operated and works in a 3 to 5 inches range depending on the size of the hard tag or soft label.

The hand-held tester is a non-contact detection equipment, which can form a 150mm detection area around the Tester, in which all kinds of anti-theft labels can be detected, accompanied by light and sound prompts.

• 1. Applicable to: supermarket clothing, shoes, hats, cosmetics, anti-theft hard label and soft label detection is invalid.
• 2. It is sensitive and can form a 15cm detection area around the Tester. In this area, various anti-theft labels can be detected and accompanied by sound prompts.
• 3. Do not touch the body of the person being searched, avoid impolite behavior, ensure the interests of the shopping mall, and maintain the public image of the shopping mall.
• 4. EAS handheld tester is a non-compulsory Tester, which can only be used with the consent of the examinee. When using it, it needs to work on other detection gates and decoders, otherwise it will produce self-resonance.
• 5. When not demagnetized, the red light will turn on and there will be an alarm. When demagnetized, there will be no alarm and the green light will turn on.

Note:
EAS handheld detector is a non-mandatory Tester. It must be approved by the subject before use. Keep away from other working detection gates and decoders when you use them, otherwise you will be self-sounding.

Undervoltage indication: When the battery is lower than 7.56V, the undervoltage red light flashes (but it can work normally)
