What is NVR camera system?
The full name of Network Video Recorder (NVR), or Network Video Recorder, is the store-and-forward part of a network video surveillance system.NVRs work with video encoders or network cameras to complete video recording, storage and forwarding functions.
A network video recorder (NVR) is a computer system that records video footage and stores it on a hard drive, mass storage device, or cloud storage. an NVR is paired with a digital internet protocol (IP) camera to create a video surveillance system.
Mobile solution NVRs (or MNVRs) operate across different transport networks. MNVRs can record up to nine IP cameras simultaneously in real time and provide up to nine simultaneous video output channels.
MNVR offers advanced options such as built-in motion detection algorithms, alarm triggers, and custom recording modes. MNVR technology is the ideal solution for actively monitoring and recording video feeds from mobile IP cameras. The recorder connects to the camera using an M12 airline connector for added stability.

How an NVR camera system works
NVR camera systems consist of three parts: the camera, the network and the NVR. here’s how they work together.
Cameras: There are many different types of security cameras on the market, including analog cameras (often considered outdated technology due to their low resolution) and wireless cordless cameras (often used in home security camera systems rather than for commercial use.) NVRs are often used in conjunction with IP cameras. IP cameras that use an Ethernet connection are called Power over Ethernet (PoE) cameras. The Ethernet cable has a dual function, powering the camera and transmitting data to the NVR, which makes installation easier and more flexible.PoE IP cameras typically come in two types: bullet cameras and dome cameras.
NVR: The key part of an NVR security camera system is the NVR itself, not the camera. Some NVRs are devices that contain hard drives; others are cloud-based, utilizing cloud storage and technology. However, all NVRs perform the same function: they receive video clips over a network data connection and store the clips for later viewing.NVRs contain multiple Ethernet ports, so you can connect multiple cameras. For example, an 8-channel NVR can support up to 8 cameras.
Network connection: IP security cameras connect to the NVR using a wired or wireless connection. usually, in the case of a wired connection, the cameras are connected to the NVR via an Ethernet cable.
The difference between DVR and NVR
Digital video recorders (DVRs) and network video recorders (NVRs) are types of video recording systems used for security cameras. On the surface, both systems serve the same purpose: they capture video footage transmitted by the camera and store that stream so you can play it back later.
The main difference between DVR and NVR systems is how they communicate and transmit video data.
In a DVR system, the camera stream is captured from an analog camera. Because analog cameras cannot process the video at the source location, they transmit the raw video feed to the VCR via coaxial cable.
The VCR processes the video into a digital format for real-time storage or access.
In an NVR system, video is captured by digital or IP (Internet Protocol) cameras. IP cameras process the video directly from the camera itself. The processed stream is then transmitted to the recorder over an Ethernet cable.
